About
Meet BX.
Bravo Vincent Makafu
Also known as BX
Founded in 2023, BX is a South African entrepreneur, business educator and economic builder on a mission to change how people think about business, wealth creation and economic participation.
His work goes beyond the motivational version of entrepreneurship. He focuses on the mechanics that make businesses work: identifying opportunities, building valuable offers, attracting customers, pricing for profit, generating sales, managing money, creating systems and executing with discipline.
Through The Builder’s Room Business Accelerator and private mentorship, BX turns business knowledge into practical strategy, helping entrepreneurs move from ideas to implementation and from activity to measurable progress.
The mission is bigger than starting businesses. It is about building the knowledge, confidence and economic participation needed to create a stronger generation of South African entrepreneurs.
“I don’t want to teach people how to look successful. I want to teach them how to build something that works.”
BX, Bravo Vincent Makafu
The BX approach
No fluff. No fairytales. No “just believe in yourself.”
01
Revenue matters.
A business needs customers.
02
Profit matters.
Revenue without margin is a vanity metric.
03
Cash matters.
A profitable business can still run out of cash.
04
Systems matter.
If everything depends on you, you haven't built a business yet.
05
Execution matters.
Ideas are cheap. Implementation is where businesses are built.
06
Adaptability matters.
Markets change. Entrepreneurs need to change with them.
The mission
We don’t just need more entrepreneurs. We need better businesses.
Small and growing businesses play an important role in South Africa's economic future. Better businesses create jobs, and jobs build stronger communities.
Building businesses. Building people. Building South Africa.
